Frequently Asked Questions

Can I choose where the page numbers appear?

Yes. Place numbers in any corner or centered, at the top or bottom of every page, and the live preview shows the exact placement before you download.

What number formats are available?

Three formats: plain numbers (1, 2, 3), "current of total" (1 / N), and a labelled style (Page 1). You can also set which number the first page starts at.

Can I start numbering from a number other than 1?

Yes. Set any starting number — useful when your document continues from a previous file or has unnumbered cover pages.

Does adding numbers change the rest of my PDF?

No. The page numbers are added on top of the existing content; nothing else about the document is altered, and quality is preserved.

Is it free and private?

Completely free with no signup. Files are processed over a secure connection and are not stored after your session.
